Day 1: Moshi – Lake Manyara National Park
Your safari begins with a morning pickup in Moshi. Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a lush, scenic park nestled at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy a game drive searching for baboons, hippos, elephants, flamingos, and the park's famous tree-climbing lions. In the evening, transfer to a nearby public campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, continue your journey through the Ngorongoro Highlands toward Serengeti National Park. Pass traditional Maasai villages and vast savannah landscapes. Arrive in Serengeti for an afternoon game drive en route to your public campsite in central Serengeti. Dinner and overnight in the heart of the wild.
Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti
Spend the entire day exploring the wildlife-rich Serengeti Plains. With your expert guide, track lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, and—depending on the season—the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing the adventure. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Enjoy a sunrise game drive in Serengeti before breakfast, then begin your journey to Ngorongoro Crater. Along the way, you may visit a Maasai village for cultural interaction (optional). Arrive at Simba Campsite, located on the crater rim, for dinner and overnight with spectacular views into the caldera below.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Africa. Look out for rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, and more. After lunch, exit the crater and travel to a campsite near Tarangire National Park, where you'll have dinner and rest.
Day 6: Tarangire National Park – End of Safari in Moshi
On your final day, explore Tarangire National Park, known for its huge elephant population and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a final game drive with opportunities to see giraffes, lions, leopards, and various antelope species. After lunch, return to Moshi, where your safari ends with drop-off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro Airport.
